The Launceston Chamber of Commerce acknowledges and thanks Damian Ivereigh, who has stepped down as President due to other commitments. We are grateful that Damian will continue to contribute as a valued member of the Board, where his strategic perspective and dedication to the business community remain highly regarded.
The Board has elected Alicia Perry as the new President and Bianca Welsh as Vice President, joining Marcus Lancaster as Vice President and Hans van Pelt as Treasurer.
Alicia has served on the Board since 2022 and as Vice President since 2024. A highly respected local business leader, Alicia brings energy, experience and a collaborative leadership style that will be a great asset as we continue to champion growth and opportunity across our region.
Bianca Welsh has been a dedicated member of the Chamber Board since 2016. As a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and inclusive employment—and co-owner of two of Launceston’s leading hospitality venues—Bianca brings deep experience, insight, and a strong voice for small business and workforce wellbeing.
