Esk was established in 2010, a month before the GFC, with the simple goal of making GIS easy. The founders, Tim Bates, Steve Gudici, and Jeremy Wilson, recognised the potential of GIS in various sectors, including government, business, and forestry. They were impressed by its ability to process large amounts of data and provide quick insights and visualisations to clients. Today, Esk Spatial is located in Launceston and Hobart, with staff in several Australian states and experiences from all over the world.


Recently we rebranded from Esk Mapping and GIS to Esk Spatial, the company remains passionate about helping you, making GIS easy and accessible and is committed to embracing the best GIS has to offer clients with a big emphasis on service.
