Theatre North Inc is an independent, non-profit organisation, established in 1995, and funded by the State Government and the City of Launceston.  

We have two main roles:  

1. We present an annual program of professional performing arts from around Australia - productions which Launceston audiences would not otherwise have the opportunity to see.  In addition, we support the development of locally produced theatre and dance.  

2. We manage the Princess Theatre and Earl Arts Centre, under a lease agreement with the City of Launceston.
