Paul is an aviation professional with more than 40 years extensive global experience across a diverse spectrum of airports, airline models, geographies and cultures and has recently attained International Airport Professional accreditation through the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Airports Council International (ACI World) program.

Hailing originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, his career began in 1978 with British Airways in London. Paul has held a number of general management roles within both airport and airline organisations and is currently General Manager of the multi-award winning Launceston Airport and the prime gateway port to Tasmania's north.

Paul is the Deputy Chair of the Australian Airports Association (AAA) and Chair of the AAA Tasmanian Division; a director of Tourism Industry Council Tasmania, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of the State Access Working Group (AWG), driving improved access and visitation to the state and region.
