Paul is an aviation professional with 38 years extensive global experience across a diverse spectrum of airports, airline models, geographies and cultures.  Hailing originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, his career began in 1978 with British Airways in London.   Paul has held a number of general management roles within both airport and airline organisations and is currently General Manager of the award-winning Launceston Airport, the Australian Airports Association Major Airport of the Year for 2015 and the prime gateway port to Tasmania’s north.

Paul is deputy chair of the Australian Airports Association Tasmanian Division, a director of Tourism Industry Council Tasmania, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a member of the State Access Working Group (AWG), driving improved access and visitation to the state and region.    

Residing in East Launceston, Paul enjoys rugby union, yachting and takes full advantage of all that the “great outdoors” can offer in beautiful Tasmania.
