Paul is an aviation professional with 39 years extensive global experience across a diverse pectrum of airports, airline models, geographies and cultures and has recently attained International Airport Professional accreditation through the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and Airports Council International (ACI World) program.

Hailing originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, his career began in 1978 with British Airways in London. Paul has held a number of general management roles within both airport and airline organisations an is currently General Manager of the award-winning Launceston Airport, the Australian Airports Association Major Airport of the Year for both 2015 and 2016 and the prime gateway port to Tasmania's north.

Paul is a Board member of the Australian Airports Association (AAA) and chair of the AAA Tasmanian Division; a director of Tourism Industry Council Tasmania, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a memberof the State Access Working Group (AWG), driving improved access and visitation to the state and region.

Residing in East Launceston, Paul enjoys rugby union, yachting and takes full advantage of all that the "great outdoors" can offer in beautiful Tasmania.
