Donna is the General Manager of Self Help Workplace, a Supported Employment Enterprise in Youngtown, employing 51 people with a disability.
After completing university in Hobart, Donna worked in Sydney and overseas for 20 years in a range of roles in social enteriprises, the legal profession, foster care and international war crime tribunals. Since returning to Tasmania in 2009, Donna eagerly promotes the State to mainlanders as a wonderful place to visit, live and do business. Donna's passion is inclusions. As a small state, Donna believes that if the state is to realise its potential then everybody in the community needs to be involved.
Donna is involved with the Tamar Community Peace Trust. She also serves as the Community Chair of the Premier's Disability Advisory Council, Deputy Chair of NDS Tasmania and TADES, and is a member of the National Disability and Carers Advisory Council.
A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and winner of the Telstra White Pages Community and Government (Tasmania) Award in 2011, Donna brings expertise in business management, policy development, corporate governance and leadership to her roles.
