The Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust was established in 1992 by the local community with the founding vision to create a world-class medical research institution in Northern Tasmania.
Clifford Craig has since developed into a vibrant organisation, which plays a vital role in facilitating quality medical research into the health issues that affect the people within our community. Most importantly, their program is designed to fund medical research that will help attract researchers, higher degree students, and specialist doctors and physicians to work in our region.
Since its inception, the Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust has built a quality research centre at the Launceston General Hospital and has committed to provide in excess of $4 million in funding for over 100 worthwhile medical research projects.
The dedicated research team has established a reputation for relevant, practical and innovative research which has truly improved medical understanding and better treatments for many serious illnesses,
