The Launceston Chamber of Commerce Board is made up of between 10 and 14 Board members and is actively engaged in policy and strategy of The Chamber and our region. Board members also contribute to the following Sub-Committees: Executive Committee; Infrastructure Committee; Economic Development Committee; and Communications and Marketing Committee. In addition Board members are actively involved in other organisations such as Cityprom where there is value to our members and the regional economy by contributing, communicating, and cross-referencing on key issues.

Bede has an eighteen year background in sales and marketing roles across a variety of organisations. His work has taken him across the globe but he has predominantly worked in Asian markets developing brands and customer engagement strategies. He now resides in Launceston working for Country Club Tasmania, developing sales and marketing strategies to attract more tourists to the State.

Now semi-retired, Richard has been involved in various local organisations, namely the Design Centre, founding member of NTRDB (now NTD), and the Launceston Business Incubator. He recently retired from the board of NRM North after eight years as chairman. Richard was elected as councillor to West Tamar Council in November 2014 and also a company director and member of the National Eventing Committee of Equestrian Australia.

Married with two adult children, Tim's current interests include family, cycling, walking and outdoor events.
